We will be opening for The Lucky 5 at Colony Woodstock on Saturday February 3rd. One set at 7pm. It’s been a minute since we’ve played a public event in the Catskills, and Colony is an awesome, venerable place to do it at. See you there. :)
We’re putting a little twist on it in February. Instead of our usual 3rd Thursday at Barbes, we’ll be rocking the first Friday in February… the 2nd! 8pm - 9:30. It’s not even a school night! We’ll try to keep some class in it though. Er, as much as we can. Good times!
Due to complete holidaze holidaze, we aren’t at Barbès in December. We’ll welcome the new year at Barbès on Jan 18th. See you there!

Shanghai Mermaid parties are back! Join us for this sunset cruise around Manhattan, full of glamour, cocktails and music. If you’ve been dying to get dressed up in your vintage finest for a real life party, this is the night you’ve been waiting for! We’ll be on the Clipper City, a stunning 158 foot pre-Civil War style sailboat, but the party starts dockside at 6:30 where we’ll perform a short acoustic set before we depart. Tickets HERE.
We’ll be doing a livestream concert on our Facebook page to benefit Safe Harbors of the Hudson. Safe Harbors are an organization all about creating housing, supporting visual and performing arts, urban green space, community building, economic development and a model for urban revitalization, and are based in Newburgh, NY. Hope you can tune in!
We’re very excited to be playing Symphony Space on Thursday, January 23rd! The show is part of their Revelry series, and takes place in the Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre. We’ll be playing one long set, and adding several new (old!) tunes to our repertoire. You can buy tickets here.

Superfine has been supporting live music in DUMBO for close to 20 years now, and serving up damn fine food and cocktails while they're at it. While the rest of the neighborhood has become super gentrified, (and a little fancy if you ask me!) Superfine still has a relaxed atmosphere, reasonable prices and a community friendly attitude. Walter is on tour with Taylor Mac! : ) We miss him, but we are super lucky to have Tom Beckham on vibes this month. He makes everything sound dreamy! And with Andrew Hall on bass and Willie Martinez on drums, we are sure to make your ears happy.
We are very very excited to be part of the lineup at this year's Livestock Music Festival! It takes place on a beautiful family farm in the Catskill Mountains, and there will be delicious BBQ and free camping. And lots of music - the festival starts at 2pm and will keep you rocking until at least midnight. Hope you can join us there for summer's last hoorah!
We've been playing Barbes once a month for several years, and it's always a wonderful hang and an intimate vibe. Daria will be away in June, so J. Walter Hawkes will lead his wonderful trio in our stead. But we are back in July! Yay!
Oh man it's been too long since we got to play Superfine! In addition to being one of our favorite venues, it's one of our favorite restaurants. (Walter's fave is the pork chop!) They've been in DUMBO for like, 15 years now, so you know they're not messing around.
